She Was a Single Mom on Public Assistance, Designing Plastic Injection Molds – Within 60 Days of Graduating HMI, She Had a Thriving Coaching Practice and Homeschooled All Four Kids
From tool and die designer to six-figure health coach in 60 days.
Before
Sixteen years in engineering. A body that was breaking down.
Cahira Noelani was a Journeyman Tool & Die Designer. For five years she designed plastic injection molds. Then for eleven years she worked as a contract designer in mechanical engineering, designing automotive equipment. Sixteen years total in an industry that had nothing to do with health, healing, or the life she was moving toward.
She was also a single mother of four. In 2012, she found Liana Shanti on Facebook – back when Liana was just beginning to share nutrition online. Cahira was struggling with full-blown adrenal fatigue. Years of dieting had destroyed her metabolism. She was exhausted, stuck, and searching for something that would actually work.
She tried the HMI juice fast first. Then the 66 Day Health Mastery Program. She wasn't just healing. She was discovering what was possible.
The Work
Building before she even graduated.
Cahira enrolled in HMI Nutrition School. She began health coaching while she was still going through the program – using the business training modules that are built into the HMI curriculum from the start. She didn't wait to graduate before she started building.
She graduated in 2014. Within 60 days, her life had changed completely. She went from struggling single mom on public assistance to business owner. She pulled all four of her children out of public school and began homeschooling them – something that had felt completely out of reach before.
She built a practice that supported her family and gave her the freedom to be present for her kids in a way that engineering never could.
After
A decade later, still building. Now mentoring others.
More than a decade later, Cahira is still practicing. She recently helped a Registered Dietician who specializes in kidney health heal her own kidneys using HMI protocols. The RD's response: "Speak to me like I know nothing because all of this education is new to me." A credentialed specialist, treating kidneys professionally, learning from an HMI-trained coach what her clinical education never covered.
Cahira's two oldest sons are now in four-year universities. The children she homeschooled on a coaching income – the children she was raising alone, on public assistance, in the years before HMI – are building their own futures. She now serves as Academic Advisor and Booked & Paid Mentor inside the HMI ecosystem.
